Please note that all correspondences will be answered as soon as possible.
Urgent telephone calls can be taken within an hour, or after 8pm but are charged at double the rate.
Responses may not be immediate if the consultant is with a client.
As soon as you call/email me to share your problem, I can begin to help. My package begins with a diary and questionnaire which will enable me to assess your child’s sleep pattern. Identifying the problem is the initial step to recommending a solution. I can then design a plan that reflects your child’s developmental stage and age, family attitudes, styles and dietary needs.
Please note: Being late for the start of an appointment will not change the end time. Consulting sessions paid for in advance must be taken within 6 months of the date of booking after which the fee is forfeited.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
You must give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment otherwise the full session fee is payable. In exceptional circumstances, I may need to rearrange a booked consulting session. In those instances, you will be given 24 hours’ notice where practical. Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control such as illness, I am happy to reschedule your appointment, subject to availability within a four week period.

While The Sleep Consultant endeavours to help you get your child sleeping through the night and napping well (where applicable), she cannot guarantee that the customised sleep plan will work for all children. The level of success for your child to be sleeping successfully is significantly enhanced by following the recommended sleep solutions written and spoken about for your child by The Sleep Consultant.
Not following the plan or only selecting components of the plan will reduce the likelihood that your child will be successfully sleeping. Similarly, in a family environment, it is crucial that all family members involved with your child’s sleeping follow the plan (mum, dad, grandparents, helpers and/or nannies).

"Seeking advice from Rachel was the best decision we've made. Our 8 month old daughter was waking around 6 or 7 times a night and would only feed to sleep, we were so desperate for help.
